The idea
We are creating a community channel, we started with Instagram and in just over 3 months after starting to share and promote our content we now have a following of 114k. We need to utilise all social media platforms to reach a wider audience. We will be creating a podcast for the channel anti-isolation, where people can share inspirational stories. We would like the most vulnerable members of society to feel empowered, heard and to utilise the skills that they have rather than sink further into addiction or depression. The first project we are doing is called Our Friends on the Streets. We have already published two books. One being an anthology another called Through Isabella's Eyes, it is about how the world changed through my daughters eyes when I got sober, i will attach links, We would run 6 week programs within the community by creating networking events making it community projects inclusive for all, creatity is
a theroputic, healing, positive outlet to inspire the many.

Why it's a great idea
We come from a place of lived experience so we bring a non judgemental empathetic approach to people who are seeking guidance.
no persons journey is the same so we do not preach but inspire people to be creative in what ever outlet suits them from boxing to poetry we cover it all. We work in SEN schools so have a multitude of experiance, navigating through mental health challenges with creative expression rather than anger frustration or repeating destructive cycles. We talk of Healthy relationships, mental health, county lines, mindfullness, drug and alcohol awareness, bullying, We have a five year plan and this is just the start we will have a holistic healing centre which will provide jobs and healing. for our podcast channel we will need volunteers and we can provide them with qualifications as well as experience. . Breaking cycles with a community creative counseling approach, we know this works because we ran workshops at TACT, Recharge, The Bridge, Birmingham University .....
Steps to get it done
- we are at 87k on Instagram now in 6 months with the correct Marketing campaign and partnership we will be at 500k
- our podcast will be set up created and ready to start recording by end Jan 2024
- we will publish Anthology of work by end July 2024
I have clicked these options because, if people get sober and free from mental health struggles they can go on to be productive positive members of society who can give back to the community with a wealth of life skills trauma led knowledge and a knowledge of where those depths of despair can take you to, so there for you have a level of empathy that is full of compassion for your fellow man. we will be the driving force behind change with a community interest company focused on humanities. we give people the tools to navigate through life's complexities, while giving resilience in the form of experience (if i made it so can you) this boosts confidence which boosts the economy because people become more positive in their endeavours, No prejudice. healing is at our forefront always, Arts and culture, our beautiful nature we would like to interweave into our artistic expression by showcasing some of Shropshire's most beautiful places. we are committed to spreading positivity.
