The idea
Everybody deserves the whole story but for people with a sight or hearing loss, the cinema isn't always the most accessible place.
There is a way to make coming to the cinema easier and more enjoyable.
We have an infrared system in both Screen 1 and 2 which allows people with a sight or hearing loss to use a personal headset to hear the film audio described alongside the action in the film or to hear an amplified dialogue track.
We want to increase the number of headsets we have so we can cater to more people including guide dog groups, social groups and special educational needs school groups.
We would like to buy 26 new headsets costing £72 each and have our existing headsets fixed or improved with new ear caps.
