The idea
Bikely Cargo is a community-powered e-cargo bike initiative transforming how we deliver care, food, and essentials — all with zero emissions.
We’re raising funds to build our first Community eHub, made from a recycled container, where we’ll:
• 🚲 Expand our e-cargo bike fleet to serve more elderly and vulnerable residents
• 🌍 Support local shops and markets with affordable green deliveries
• 💚 Create inclusive green jobs and training for young people and those seeking new opportunities
• ♻️ Promote recycling and circular living through smart, sustainable transport
• 🏡 Build stronger, fairer, and more connected neighbourhoods
With your support, Bikely Cargo will become a hub for care, community, and climate action — delivering not just parcels, but purpose. 💚🚲
What we'll deliver
- Create Green jobs and training opportunities with skill building through our eCargo bike network and eHub
- Care and essentials for the elderly, Delivering prescription and grocery for the elderly in the cold winter nights
- Collect food waste and deliver to Street kitchens,
- Reducing emissions and promoting net zero mobility in the local community
Why it's a great idea
1. Cleaner air and lower emissions
By using e-cargo bikes instead of vans, we’ll cut pollution, reduce congestion, and make our streets safer and healthier for everyone.
2. Support for the elderly and vulnerable
We’ll deliver prescriptions, groceries, and essentials directly to those who need them most — helping people stay independent and cared for.
3. Local business support
Small shops and markets will benefit from affordable, zero-emission delivery options, keeping money and jobs within the community.
4. Creation of green jobs and training
Our eHub will provide inclusive job and training opportunities, especially for young people and those facing barriers to work — helping them build future-ready green skills.
5. Community connection and inclusion
Bikely Cargo brings people together — connecting residents, riders, and local organisations around shared values of care, sustainability, and fairness.
6. Promoting circular and sustainable living
By linking recycling & deliveries
