The idea
The Parents Arkins Competition Transport (PACT) Group is a volunteer-led initiative committed to fostering inclusivity and creative expression through dance for children in Dublin's inner city. With a focus on equality, the group dedicates itself to eliminating financial barriers that could hinder talented young dancers from accessing competitive programmes. By leading community-driven fundraising efforts, PACT ensures that these aspiring performers can participate in prestigious dance competitions and training, reinforcing their artistry and ambition. This year, the group aims to raise €5,000 to cover essential costs such as transportation, enabling these children to explore their potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment fully. PACT represents a powerful collaboration between parents and the community, championing opportunity, passion, and excellence in the arts.
