The idea
With the lack of cricket during the early stages of the season, Old Hymerians CC were left with bills to pay, but no income.
The ECB will donate £100 to the cause, IF we raise at least £100 ourselves towards our target. With league affiliation being paid, and the inevitable rent for the games that remain in the summer, we have set up this crowdfunding page to help towards this.
What we'll deliver
- Help pay critical overheads during COVID-19 crisis
- Cover ground maintenance, rent and cleaning equipment.
Why it's a great idea
As the cricket season finally gets underway, now it is safe to do so, we want to ensure that our ground and facilities are well maintained, as well as clean and safe for all players and those in the community.
With the help from the ECB, and any willing contributors, we will hopefully be able to provide a quality, and safe, cricket ground. Not only for ourselves, but the many community teams we share it with.
Steps to get it done
- Provide cleansing wipes and hand sanitizer.
