The idea
We aim to transform our facility with accessible upgrades to host recycling workshops, aligning with Nottingham City Council’s goals and Carbon Neutral 2028 Action Plan.
This project addresses the skills gap in the plastics industry by engaging younger generations through hands-on learning, fostering interest in manufacturing and recycling careers. By showcasing sustainable solutions and the benefits of the circular economy, we aim to shift perceptions and highlight plastics’ role in a sustainable future.
The upgraded facility will feature an accessible entrance, toilets, kitchenette, and breakout space to support educational activities. Supporting this initiative offers a chance for companies to fulfil CSR commitments, gain positive press, and visibly contribute to community sustainability efforts.
