The idea
The funds raised will cover the costs of continuing to run the village cricket club. Specifically, this will help to cover the costs of insurance, machinery repair and fuel costs.
Marldon Cricket Club are looking to replace the old storage sheds on the outfield; the current suspension of recreation cricket in the UK has meant that all forms of income from match fees has ceased.
What we'll deliver
- Continue to provide village cricket in Marldon for the benefit of the community
- Continue to have an amazing meadow for use of the village community
- Assist with funds to replace storage sheds
Why it's a great idea
With this funding Marldon Cricket Club can continue it's 30+ years of 'real' village cricket, within the community of Marldon.
