Russian Art picnic in a park! Imagine embracing Nature as well as your cultural heritage in one of the green places in Manchester, to get support in your creativity, just to chat and eat Russian food

The idea

Children of all ages and adults of all abilities enjoying art under the trees , and a bit of Russian music and food as well. All other families visiting park will be welcome to join. Art+diversity+nature=happiness We hope to hold the event on the 15th of September (weather depending!). All backers are welcomed along.

What we'll deliver

  • plein air art activities - Russian speaking art school in a park
  • the event will be a launch of Russian speaking art school in the park, ideally regular event
  • will serve as starting point in art education, encouraging creativity
  • Russian music and food

Why it's a great idea

Russian Art picnic in a park! Connecting Russian speaking community in Manchester, developing and using Manchester parks, providing people with new skills as recreation and also increasing creativity and cultural awareness. Art+diversity+nature=happiness
