The idea
Imagine an outdoor space where you could perform, be creative and learn something new. A place where you could be entertained, meet people, relax and be inspired.
Well, with enough donations, we won’t have to imagine. Our outdoor classroom and performance space is an integral part of our ambitious redevelopment campaign. We want to ensure that our theatre, with its over 100 year history, remains at the heart of the Fylde community for generations to come.
With your donation we can make this outdoor space a permanent reality.
What we'll deliver
- Access ramps for wheelchair users
- Landscaping and planting of the surrounding area
- Audience seating
- Lighting to ensure safety
- Bollards to protect the area
Why it's a great idea
This project will allow us to put access first and help remove barriers to creative participation for people from all backgrounds and communities. All members of the community will be able to come together in a safe space. This will be achieved by providing an exciting outdoor location for all our audiences old and new to enjoy a creative education programme encouraging confidence and learning.
Alongside this, our project will create new staff and volunteer opportunities within the local community.
