The idea
The Little Bloomers of Birstall Library is a vibrant group for children aged 4-8 who love to explore the wonders of nature and sustainability. Meeting during half terms and holidays, the group engages in hands-on activities like planting, growing and recycling, fostering a deep connection with the environment. Through practical projects, crafting and art, young participants are encouraged to nurture their curiosity and skills, cultivating a sense of responsibility for the planet while having loads of fun. It’s the perfect blend of learning, creativity and eco-friendly adventures!
What we'll deliver
- Run fun gardening and linked craft sessions during school holidays
- Give the children projects to take away, nuture and share progress
- Keep the planters at Birstall Library Hub looking beautiful all through the year
