The idea
At Liverpool Cloth Nappy Library we hire kits of reusable nappies to help families reduce their reliance on disposables, save money and the environment.
Covid-19 is impacting families in many ways- particularly financially and with scarcity of essential items such as nappies and wipes in the shops.
Our Nappy Library is a valuable resource to help families deal with the impact of Covid-19 by increasing self-sufficiency and reducing costs. By using our kits and switching to reusables, a family will never run out of nappies for their baby. Reusable nappies can be passed down the family, or to friends with little ones- just 1 reusable nappy can save as many as 1300 nappies from landfill. A family switching to reusables can save as much as £500 between birth and potty training, with more children, the savings mount up.
Liverpool Cloth Nappy Library is run by volunteers- local parents and carers who've made the switch and want to help other families discover the benefits of reusables.
