The KickStart Kitchen Chef Training Prog

The KickStart Kitchen offers free professional chef training and networking services to those currently facing a barrier to employment.

The idea

The KickStart Kitchen comprises of a 6 week chef training course followed by a 1 week work placement, all designed to get anyone ready for an entry level position in a top Irish restaurant or hotel.

The mission is to create jobs for those who deserve a second chance, while also helping the Hospitality Industry with its current recruitment struggles.

We aim to help a wide range of people across Irish society and work with a large number of partner oganisations, namely those involved with helping -

People living in Direct Provision, early school leavers, those exiting prison services, those exiting homelessness service, immigrants, those from the Traveller Community, those from disadvantaged backgrounds etc.

What we'll deliver

  • 8 new jobs per each 8 week course
