The idea
Our centre IVO is celebrating 20 years of serving deprived communities in London . W e have facilitated children music and dance workshops over 400 children and young people have built their confidence ,developed talent in music , performing arts and dramma. In the the run up to Our Big Gig in July, we plan to run free weekly dance workshops for age group 3 years to 60+ over 50 participants will take a lead in the Big GIG event in July 2015 The event will be a platform for social cohesion in Tottenham through music ,dance and play , children young people ,elderly we will come to gather enjoying music,sing song dance and drum,play unique music instruments
With your support we will be able to pay a nominal fees for dance trainers, hire music instruments, provide light refreshments for participants , publicity for the activities and evaluation exercise of the impact the event will make on lives of participants and audience.
What we'll deliver
- * fix disabled toilet fix a fire exit door.
- *fix the broken windows, fix the shutters, * refurbish the hall ,
- clean the children play area , fence it to keep away antisocial activities, repaint the monkey bars and benches,
- launch music and dance workshops for people of Tottenham and neighbouring wards stage an event in July 2015
- To create a safe play area for children on High cross estate and neighbouring estates.
Why it's a great idea
our centre IVO is the only surviving community space in the area but it is in need of refurbishment ,There is general outcry for a space to go to in Tottenham hale .

helps ease on isolation,stress and builds confidence of participants , build networks, support social cohesion
*By refurbishing this multi-purpose centre many residents will access it for meetings, workshops, entrepreneurs workshops, young people 's space, music and dance, Children activities
Steps to get it done

- Buy fence for children play area, buy grass recks slashers ,brooms for community action clear rubbish,
- Buy refurbishing materials glass, board,shutters,, attract in kind eg skilled labour, buy paint,
- hire drums and instruments to run weekly workshops in music and dance
- * refurbish the hall , hire out door Marquee
This multi-purpose center will be able to sustain itself through enterprise activities eg young people selling skills IT, design and textiles, dance group for entertainment for a fee,
We hope to help smaller groups by providing them a hot desk to kick start their projects.
