The idea
Holmfirth Pride returns for its 2nd year on Saturday 25 July 2026 for a heartfelt celebration of love, resilience, and community in the heart of the Holme Valley.
Our very first Pride event last year was organised in response to a homophobic attack in the town—a powerful statement that hate has no place in our community.
This year, our entirely volunteer-run team is working to make Holmfirth Pride 2026 bigger and better. Every part of the day is organised & delivered by local people giving their time, energy, and passion to create a safe, joyful, and inclusive space for everyone.
Your support will help us deliver a free community celebration filled with live entertainment, local talent, family-friendly activities, and opportunities for connection, visibility, and support for LGBTQ+ people across our area.
Together, we can continue building on the incredible spirit of last year’s event and show that Holmfirth stands proudly for kindness, equality, love and inclusion

- Equipment hire - stage, sound system, gazebo hire
- Community-led rainbow decorations and art installations across Holmfirth
- Pride Poster & Digital content completion for local schools - printing and video production
