The idea
Due to the COVID 19 crisis and the Government rules and guidance for our organisation we have had to close the venue and Furlough our Club Stewardess. This has obviously after next to no turnover in the winter months halted any income from the bar and subscriptions we would normally see at this time - Along with some of the cricket we love to play and watch.
Any support members, businesses and general public can provide during this time would be most welcome and greatly received. Such support would hopefully mean the survival of our club covering ongoing costs which unfortunately have not slowed at a similar rate to our income.
What we'll deliver
- Help pay our ongoing overhaeds during the COVID 19 Crisis
- Keep ground maintenance ongoing to keep in good condition and ready for the possible start of play.
Why it's a great idea
All the fundraising functions we normally run in the clubhouse have been cancelled/postponed and bar takings zero since the lockdown was implemented.
We need our community and the community needs us. Unfortunately this Disease is keeping us apart.With your help we want to make sure our club is here to go again when safe to do so.
