The idea
The ECB have announced that recreational cricket can start again on the 11th July but the Club need to make our pavilion and ground COVID-19 safe which has required more expenditure without any income streams.
At present we have spent £300 on signs, indicators and sanitising products which along with monthly bills of £400 so the Club has decided to set up this crowdfunding page to help towards paying 2 months of bills and the outlay to meet COVID-19 requirements. The ECB will donate £100 to the cause once the Club has hit at least £100 towards the target.
We want to ensure a safe environment for the whole of our community to come too and ensure the Club is in a good place once the crisis is all over
What we'll deliver
- Help pay for the extra expenditure due the COVID-19 crisis
- Cover the pavilion and ground running costs
Why it's a great idea
The Club is a huge part of the local community and it is important that after this COVID-19 crisi is past that the Club remains in a position to support the local community as effectively as it did pre crisis.
The inactivity at the Club until the 11th July has meant bills have needed to be paid without any income and our development plan has been put on hold.
