The idea
To get raised flower planters to aid older people to partake in planting shrubs and flowers, and to socialise.
What we'll deliver

- Have a social area for tea parties
Why it's a great idea
Older people need to be included in simple garden activities . At the moment there are only extremely flat area's to plant . Raised beds/planters will bring an increase in residents of all ages participating in social activities such as choosing and planting the flowers for the beds.
Steps to get it done
- We would like to have our plants ready to be planted very early July
To have a proper seating area , and a couple of benches for to sit and read or play games.
DCC housing section have removing the old benches and low flower beds, and checking electrics for lighting requirements for the public area. They have given permission for us to source external funding for raised planters.
