The idea
We have some basic costs we have to cover before we can take to the field. With zero income so far this season we have to prepare our pitches and buy in all the equipment we need.
We have started this "project restart" to ensure we can start the cricket season as soon as allowed and deliver cricket for everyone once again. We have players as young as 4 and as old as 73 ready to play!
As long as we adhere to all government guidelines we are allowed to work on our pitches to get things ready, however we need some sort of income to do so.
What we'll deliver
- 2 months fuel for mowers and rollers
- Paint for 2 sightscreens
- Cricket balls for all non league home matches in July and August
Why it's a great idea
Will need to be ready to start the season as soon as we are allowed by the ECB and the government. If we have any further delays the club will see more lost income and will leave us in serious financial trouble. We provide cricket for over 75 players across all age groups each year, we really don't want to see our club disappear.
Steps to get it done
- Season able to start on July 4th
We offer cricket for all - All Stars Cricket for 4-8 year olds, Dynamos for 8-12s, ladies softball, walking cricket, league matches, friendlies and evening T20 Bash matches.
