The station will provide a platform for creative, artistic and musical expression, enabling previously unknown people with creative gifts, talents and skills to be showcased and celebrated.
Sorry this project was unsuccessful, we did not reach our fundraising goal.
Following our award of a Community Radio Station Licence from OFCOM, we need to build the studios from scratch to launch as a functioning radio station and training center for the community. We are relying on the support of the local community to help us fund the set up of our premises.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
FLEX FM RADIO is multi-media platform that broadcasts the most cutting edge electronic dance music to a worldwide audience at the highest level, as well as taking care of our community, supporting and influencing the young people of South-West London as our number one priority. The station has become an integral part of the community. We are constantly seeking to develop a range of partnerships to ensure that we serve the needs of our community. We will provide opportunities to disadvantaged local people in the form of training courses and 'hands on' voluntary involvement within the radio station. We also have a successful joint training programme with South Thames College in Wandsworth. We are an approved NCFE training centre providing a selection of courses on site. At this present time, we have a very small team of volunteers all working together with us to help start build our studios which will be the hub of FLEX FM.
