The idea
We work with hard to reach young people in offering training and education. We do this with a bicycle recycling program that works to repair and recycle bikes that have been donated from various sources including The Met Police, Network Rail and Local Recycling Centres.
The young people who take part get trained in Bicycle Mechanics and Repairs which is accredited by The AQA Unit Awards Scheme.
Once the bikes have been repaired they are then either donated to charity of given back into the local community.

Why it's a great idea
The aim of this project is to engage and inspire young people to make the right decisions and become the very best they can be. We also help build a very strong Community cohesion and a sense of pride and achievement for the young people who take part.
We also offer continued advice and support for the young people and work closely with other youth groups with the aim of stopping youth violence.
