The idea
Young people growing up, with very little to do, could lead to anti-social behaviour – that’s why we want to start running a series of music learning and activities clubs for young people, initially for from ages 5-7 (Years 1&2) & 7-11 (Years 3-6), then adding additional clubs up to 18 years.
We’ll be running these new clubs from Castle Hill Community Centre, Ebbsfleet Valley, Dartford.
We will take our young Groovestars on a journey of musical fun, support and development, following a comprehensive curriculum, laying down the foundations of music through rhythm and melody.
They’ll be exploring Singing, Listening, Composing and Performing, as well as discovering a range of different instruments and genre.
Groovestar Music School CIC is a not-for-profit, community interest company, providing music clubs, workshops, high quality music training and music therapy, to young people in the North & West Kent community.
