The idea
As the cricket season has yet to get underway due to COVID-19 and all our fundraisers are currently cancelled, we have no income, but we still have to pay the bills!
Any support members and the public can provide during this time would be a great help and would ensure that we can pay our bills and reopen as soon as this crisis is over.
We want to ensure there is a place for the whole community to come together to play and enjoy cricket. It will be more important than ever once this is all over!

Why it's a great idea
Our project will bring many benefits. It will mainly benefit the public in Droxford as it gives them a suitable place to exercise. This is evident with tennis players, boules players, cricket players and football players using the rec in order to exercise. This will also benefit the cricket club as it will improve our reputation throughout the village which can lead to more people wanting to play cricket. By promoting the cricket club, this can lead to more people watching the sport when we are playing.
