The idea
Its a warm bank event for black and black heritage women to attend friendly establishment's, where they can be themselves and dine with their friends. This will help with their mental well being and heal from loneliness.
The project aims to help local businesses on high street by dining at their restaurant and leave good reviews.
What we'll deliver
- Help the local economy by spending at small business restaurants
- Help vulnerable people in the community to come out their houses and be in warm environment's
- Help connect people by creating the ability to dine at local restaurants
Why it's a great idea
It will bring vital businesses to ethnic minority owned restaurants and businesses that where hit hard during the pandemic.
It will bring warmth comfort and energy for our members going through cost of living crises. A chance to get through the cold winter by maintaining mental health by meeting others and having fun together in a group.
It will bring good publicity to the Camden area. We will share our events as it happens on social media and twitter and @wearecamden. We want to create public awareness that our unique warm bank event is taking place in the borough so people can share it to friends and family that may be interested in attending.
Steps to get it done
- Spending on PR and advertisement so we can reach targeted group
Our members would be thrilled and will help them socialise and their financial problems will not hinder their social life.
We aim to start in February 3 and finish February 24
Followed by the whole month March every Friday's.
We will start our first couple of sessions at the verified warm bank restaurant, which our member Ruth has hosted for our group called Engocha Restaurant on Fortress Road Camden.
