The idea
Counselling 4 Carers delivers accessible online therapeutic support to both unpaid and paid carers, aimed at enhancing their mental well-being. As a non-profit organisation, we reinvest all proceeds back into community support initiatives. Our team comprises of two professional counsellors, contributing 1000 hours annually to assist carers in managing the emotional demands of their roles. Recognizing the immense responsibility and undervalued contributions of carers, we provide tailored counselling sessions structured around measurable improvements in psychological health. From the initial assessment to post-therapy evaluations, our approach ensures carers can replenish their emotional reserves, enabling them to better care for others. Guided by our mission, "supporting those who care most," we strive to uplift and empower carers from all walks of life.

Why it's a great idea
Statically 70% of carers said they had a long-term physical or mental health condition, disability or illness. Research by Public Health England has shown that caring should be considered a social determinant of health and here at counselling 4 carers we want to improves lives for carers to enable them to continue to provide this essential role they take on. Both counselling and caring changes lives, we recognize this impact. We aim to improve the lives and mental wee-being of carers which in turn will also have positive affect on this being cared for.
