We will create a youth mobile festival which tours the Cotswolds, supports local community events, provides a space to showcase local young talent and offers young people in rural areas positive activities and opportunities to engage in arts and creativity. Working with young dancers, actors , circus performers, musicians from local organisations we will provide a space to celebrate young people in the Cotswolds. We will also make this available to support local festival's across the Cotswolds. Support from Crowdfund Cotswold will enable us to purchase a large marquee, trailer and resources to support events such as stage, lighting , props as well as staffing costs to oversee the project, identify local talent and promote the festival

What we'll deliver:

• 6 Youth Showcase & Funday events across the Cotswolds in 2024
• PA & Stage equipment (lighting &audio equipment)
• Provide a platform for young talent from Cotswolds to be seen
• Events which all the community can enjoy

Why it's a great idea:

Young people in the Cotswolds will benefit by having opportunities to co-create a youth showcase event , they will be involved in all aspects from performing to promoting as well as attending and enjoying the events Young people looking to develop their talents will have opportunities to showcase their artistic skills and will be give a platform on which to shine. Organisations working with young people will also benefit by promoting what they do and the impact they have on young people Rural communities will benefit from having events which bring people together to have fun and celebrate local talent and culture. Local festivals will benefit by having access to a packaged performance group that will add value to existing events and raise their profile
