The idea
Situated on the site of a former local authority waste collection site now the responsibility of the local Brampton Cricket Club the planned development area has long been overgrown and neglected. Nearly an acre in size there has been longstanding community demand for increased greenspace facilities in the area. The proposed development will see it brought into community use as allotments and general greenspace whilst retaining the character already present. The site will have a reinstated car park, pathway through previously wet and difficult ground as well as benches and tables for persons to enjoy the peace and tranquillity the area offers. The planned improvements will enable local people to access and enjoy an area previously inaccessible to most. Improved dynamic uses of the site will hopefully reduce crime and anti social in the area whilst offering intergenerational learning opportunities for all who wish it. The site will be a place of activity and relaxation in equal measures
