The idea
Brightstar Performing Arts School provides an inclusive and affordable platform for children in Newham to explore drama, creativity, and self-expression. Founded by a single mum and qualified teacher who recognised the financial barriers to extracurricular activities, the school is committed to fostering confidence and essential life skills in a nurturing environment. It is a space where children of all personalities—whether shy or energetic—are celebrated and supported. Brightstar also empowers local parents by offering opportunities to contribute in valuable roles, creating a collaborative community project that inspires pride and growth.
