The idea
We will be using the funds raised to enable us to carry out essential works to the ground and clubhouse so we are ready to relaunch Arreton Cricket Club with a Family Cricket Day when lockdown restrictions are lifted. It will also enable us to provide a barbecue or buffet along with games and lots of fun!
What we'll deliver
- A wicket and ground ready to play
- A clean, smart clubhouse with tuck shop
- A Family Cricket Day re-opening with games and barbecue/buffet
Why it's a great idea
It will not only bring the Arreton cricket family back together, but also the local community. With a rejuvenated clubhouse and ground it will be a place not just for cricket, but a place to meet friends. This will be kicked off with a Family Cricket Day where all will be welcome, really helping to bring everyone back together.
