The idea
Bardsey CC is a small village club, dependent upon membership subs and bar takings and we are unable to run any fundraising events due to the lockdown. Until cricket re-starts we will have no income. Every penny counts to get us through this and secure a future for the club.
We want to ensure the club can survive and continue to be a focal point for the community . Being able to come together to play and enjoy cricket will be more important than ever once the current emergency is over.
What we'll deliver
- Pay for essentials during COVID19 emergency
- Cover ground maintenance and other running costs
Why it's a great idea
Because of COVID19, the cricket season has yet to get underway and all our planned fundraising events have been cancelled. This means we have ZERO income so far for 2020. But... we still have bills to pay!
We love our cricket club and we want to make sure it survives this crisis. With your help we will be open again as soon as it is safe to do so and our community can come together to play & enjoy cricket.
If we raise £100 in pledges, the ECB will match this amount.
We appreciate that not everyone will be able to contribute but any help will be much appreciated in keeping the club afloat during this difficult time for everyone.
Steps to get it done
- Ensure the club survives the impact of COVID-19
