The idea
Our experts include; psychologists - adult and children, financial advisor, yoga and exercise coaches, massage / sports therapy / osteopath and physiotherapy. We all have extensive experience and have set up our Community Interest Company - officially registered, to help people for free. We are not allowed to make a profit which means all fundraising will go to help our projects. One of which is to create a Well-life podcast. We will interact with locals by responding to questions and queries and creating links to local support groups and our own free workshops and services.
We hope that the podcast will be a place for people to go and dip in to various conversations that may apply to them but also we would like to specifically help the community by connecting with local business and sharing our podcast among local friends and services. This is a way to gain connection, social cohesion and support networks.
Currently this is lacking and we feel alone with our problems.
What we'll deliver
- Informative, professional podcast episodes
- Professional knowledge and advise from expert speakers
- FREE Live workshops and treatment services
- Community spirit, help and guidance
Why it's a great idea
Free help with our biggest issues at the moment - health. Improvements in mental health with free advice and knowledge. Improvements in physical health with advice, practical tips and referral information. Financial health support for free, much needed in this current climate. Interaction with professionals via our contact page and help with mental and physical health issues.
A platform to bring community projects together, to invite other locals along to talk about their projects and bring society together. This will help those that feel alone and struggle to receive NHS services.
We will produce support networks via breakout workshop groups in LIVE sessions to help struggling parents with SEN children, or first time mums navigate their own mental and physical health, or the elderly become engaged with the community.
Steps to get it done
- To produce at least 10 informative pod cast episodes with community engagement, answering and helping common issues.
- To help people with their mental and physical health, improving and extending life
- Provide care for those on waiting lists and in need financially
Your money however small the donation will help to fund the studio space to record and produce the podcast, to create professional content and reach the right community. The experts involved will be volunteering, giving up their time to help our locals.
