The idea
To provide outdoor space for all to access, especially those with a Disability and dementia. with activities, secure fencing and a seating area.the area will be a stimulating and secure area with activity boards, herb smells and the sounds of bells and chimes ,or just relax in the seating area with lunch while socialising ,making new friends. The area will provide an extended space to Sensory World centre and the social cafe which supports those who is isolation or lonely.

Why it's a great idea
This will be an extension to sensory world that is already very busy with groups and individuals that visit and already enjoy the many Sensory activities on offer in the Sensory rooms. This will provide an outdoor space which will be a relaxed safe area for those with Dementia, Autism and other Disabilities.

- The Garden will be cleared of unwanted plant
- Walls Painted
- Secure gate and fence
- Purchase Sensory Equipment
- Purchase Seating
- Install sensory equipment and seating
- Plant Herbs
Sensory World provides a welcoming and understanding environment where customers/clients book regular visits to the Sensory room,Waterbed room or drop in to the cafe, sit and relax and have lunch.
We also have many Clubs,groups and social events.
