This funding would to enable our multi use football pitch to become a safer environment for all in the community to enjoy. The replacement of the damaged concrete and metal barriers with plastic industry approved barriers will ensure children using the pitch are safe from cars that access the club car parks using the road adjacent to the pitch.This will ultimately lead to spectators/parents being able to watch a game /coaching session from a safe distance.

What we'll deliver:

• A safer playing environment for all especially children
• A more secure and user friendly pitch
• A better playing surface as the management of footfall will be a lot easier.

Why it's a great idea:

Our partner coaching partner 8BY8 who provide high quality coaching for children on the pitch will be able offer a much better product increasing participation to sessions. Protection to the pitch from unwelcome visitors - three times in the last couple of years we have had cars make there way on to the pitch causing damage and cancellation of matches.

Steps to get it done:

• Remove all existing barriers
• Simultaneously replace the removed Barriers with new safer user friendly barriers.
