Inspire 2 success (I2S) is a play-scheme and after-school club. We are a small team heading a Non-For-Profit company that is focused on uplifting and empowering our community. One of our main focuses is on healthy living. We achieve this by providing free breakfast every morning, to ensure our young people are receiving a nutritious start to each day.Breakfast includes food such as cereal, toast, fruits and yogurts. Our company also aim to help young people to gain experience by volunteer work, where they are able to engage with the children and learn essential skills needed in any work environment. We believe the demand for experience within employment leaves many young people at a disadvantage, with I2S, we can provide them the opportunity to gain insight into how to communicate, act professional, deal with customers and adapt.

What we'll deliver:

  • Family summer fairs
  • Raffle tickets
  • Workshops

Why it's a great idea:

Inspire 2 Success is unique because we provide free breakfast for the children for families on low income. Many parents in deprived areas struggle to feed their children during the holiday, which leaves the children with a lack of nutrition and energy. We want to help by giving children the best start to the day. As well as making new friends, whilst learning new and exciting skills with all our fun , educational activities, lead by professionals who volunteer to run amazing workshops for our young people such as sports, drama, cooking and arts. Our aim is to also help young people gain great work experience and provide them with new skills to take them further in their careers. We also will provide them with training, which will help to empower them and give them a sense of responsibility.

Steps to get it done:

  • Receiving applications from volunteers aged 15-19. Purchasing equipment to help with sport and arts activities.
