We have partnered with the Enham Trust charity. The aims of our event is to use art such as doodling to offer an alternative way to de-stress, supporting mental health. Our aims are to bring community cohesion in valuing, supporting and promoting difference and publicising Enham and the fantastic work they do.
Enham Trust support people with physical disabilities to lead a more autonomous and fulfilled life.
The event will include games, inspirational speakers talking about how using your creativity can help reduce stress and support companies, charities and communities in managing conflict and of course the doodling of a bus that has kindly been donated by Stagecoach.
What we'll deliver:
- Hold an event that promotes Enham
- Promote the work that Enham Trust do in enabling adults with physical disabilities to lead a more autonomous lives.
- Support community cohesion and celebrate difference
Why it's a great idea:
World Doodle Day is a way to bring the community of Enham together, using art and creativity to encourage communication, support difference and value differences.
This project will help to promote Enham as a whole but most importantly the fantastic, life changing work that the Enham Trust charity do. They support adults with physical disabilities to lead a more autonomous and fulfilled lives.
World Doodle Day will be a great event with food, live music, speakers, activities and more.
We have had it confirmed that Stagecoach are kindly donating a bus to be used to Doodle on the day and will then be driven around to further promote our mission.
Our aim is to get the local press involved to further promote this event.
Steps to get it done:
- To enable Enham Trust to receive recognition for the work they do.
- To encourage people to use art as a form of expression/communication
- To gain participation from people around the world, not just UK based
- To nurture community cohesion
