Crowdfunding for Wombwell Main CC to help us provide recreational cricket for our players & the boys & girls in our community after the loss of income caused by COVID-19.
There may be no evening or weekend cricket during this COVID-19 pandemic but rest assured we're very much planning for the future when cricket returns to Wombwell Main CC & with your help & support, great things can happen! Presently we have no income, yet the ground & clubhouse require regular maintenance to ensure that they're safe & ready for players & social members when we re-open. Contributing to this crowdfunding effort will help the club to be in a strong position when we are finally able to get back on the field & into the pavilion bar. Why it's a great idea:
The lockdown has had a huge impact on people's physical and mental well-being. Cricket is a great form of exercise for all ages and we want to be able to offer this again as soon as restrictions are lifted. We have a enthusiastic junior membership who are itching to play some cricket and our senior teams who can't wait to get back into action. With your help we will be able to restore some normality back to life.
