The Whale of a Time Festival is an inspiring and empowering way of getting involved in social and environmental issues through exclusive film screenings by award-winning environmental film-makers, informative discussions with leading environmental and social researchers, sustainable art exhibitions, music performances and the Whale of a Time Workshop in celebration of the world’s oceans and rainforests.
The Whale of a Time Festival is a great opportunity to participate in an event that aims to bring the need of sustainable energy consumption and conscientious living right at the heart of the community through an open discussion on today's most pressuring environmental issues whilst having a whale of a time!

There has never been a more urgent time to elevate our consciousness. The Earth is sacred! All life on Earth has inherent rights to life!
The Whale of a Time Festival provides a great opportunity for the community to participate in an event that shares values for a sustainable society.
Through the event the feeling of belonging to one Earth Community is being amplified and all voices have an opportunity to be heard.
By celebrating our common roots in nature, we are able to nurture and strengthen our sacred bond with our all life providing Earth.
Through this unique bond we are able to realise our commitment for a sustainable and conscientious relationship with the Earth.
This special relationship connects us deeply with all Earth inhabitants as one big Earth family.
We share a common intelligence with indigenous communities, whales and their ocean societies, orangutans and their rainforest communities and everything that is alive.
Steps to get it done:
We organised the Whale of a Time Festival in 2012, which was our first ever festival and it was a huge success! We counted approx. 600 visitors. Passion and experience shared, tears were shed, solutions discussed, networks built and so much was learnt. Let's spread our awareness for a sustainable society.

VolunteerSince 2007 we have been running Whale of a Time in the UK with the aim to engage people from all walks of life with social and environmental issues. Since the start of the project we have reached over 16,000 visitors with our message. Our work has been recognised by many national, community, health and environmental awards schemes such as the London Archant Envrionmental Awards, NHS Community Well-being Awards, London Archant Business Awards, Future Friendly Awards, London Peace Awards.
Through Whale of a Time we share our vision to promote a sustainable and contentious existence living in harmony with our unique life-source planet Earth - a "living being" consisting of the most complext and intrinsically inter-connected web of life that we know of in the whole of the universe, which gives it resilience to overcome environmental change such as climate change, unless we destroy its delicate balance.
Whale of a Time provides an opportunity to engage with the most pressing social and environmental issues of today through its creative and fun approach for young and old to participate in educational and entertaining events. Our aim is to increase awareness of threats to future generations, our society, communities, species, global ecosystems and our "living being" Mother Earth herself, to empower individuals, guide the general public, influence sustainable government policies and inspire sustainable corporate responsibility.
We do this by organising educational community events such as the Whale of a Time Festival and the Whale of a Time Workshop and by leading a platform for environmentally-aware people promoting experts, scientists, NGOs, campaigners and artists though the Whale of a Time Community.
