VolunteerWestgate Cricket Club plays in the Westmorland Cricket League, running three senior sides in Divisions 1, 2 and 4. The Club boasts an excellent Junior Structure with sides from ages 5 to16. In 2020 we are forming a 3rd X1 comprising mainly our juniors and some parents. We will also further secure our Women and Girls team and the U9s. We are part of the All Stars ECB initiative aimed at 5–8 year olds and have 5 junior sides covering all ages up to U16 level. Last year our U13 side won the overall League Championship and the U16s reached their Cup Final. With the success that Westgate CC has achieved on the ?eld over the past 26 years (38 major honours) it can be said that we are the most successful club in the area.
