Enabling everyone to imagine, fund & launch local projects that bring Worcestershire to life.
Opposite the main road thats used to enter the village which is St Kenelems, is a layby, if this layby could be extended to take time limited vehicles it would free up the road for vehicles to pass more easily. The road is a busy road taking all manner of vehicles, cars, bikes, artici=ulated lorrises, fram tractors and regular bus root.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
The road will be free from parked cars that presently slow down or stop vehicles from entering or exiting the village. Visitors will no longer drive straight through the village due to no where to park and stop and use the shops we have in the village, this then supporters local businesses and keeps the shops running for the villagers who, if there were no shops would have to travel out of the village and at a time when we should be cutting down on car use and helping the environment.
Steps to get it done:
We have many visitors to the village that like to make their way up to Clent Hills, these visitors will no longer say well you can never drive through freely so we go in another direction, this presently is taking away local business trade plus two pubs.
