Wycombe Community Farm want to teach self-sufficiency in growing your own food and learning life skills through workshops and training. We will teach sustainable development, conservation of the environment and about renewable energy sources. We will create and maintain wildlife habitats . We will endeavour to bring over 200 allotments to High Wycombe, offer workshops, facilitate recycling centres where points are earned for recycling and the points redeemable on our products and services; open a farm shop & cafe and a garden centre and nursery.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
High Wycombe has a diverse population.
There is the need to teach people how to grow their own food as more and more people are using food banks and food prices continue to rise.
We need to stop using landfill and find ways to up-cycle our waste where possible.
It teaches self-sufficiency and sustainable living.
