Waddecar currently has a small pond where a limited number of young people can learn and experience watersports. This project is to enlarge the current pond to form a lake, and create changing facilities for young people by the waterside. In 2022, over 23,000 young people visited Waddecar. With this new project, an estimated 7,500 young people every year will have the opportunity to experience watersports as a result of this scheme.
