Volunteer Centre Lewisham has always put on an event during Volunteers Week (1st - 7th June) to celebrate all the wonderful volunteers and volunteering that goes on locally. We will be inviting voluntary organisations along who are keen to meet with potential volunteers to tell them about what volunteering they can do in the local community. To make this event more interesting and fun - we want to include a fun theme, so we would like to do a vibrant and colorful carnival theme We will ask all the organisations to decorate their stalls ina carnival style and maybe themselves, have face painting for the little ones, fancy dress, music and dance and various other activities that are fun and lively.

What we'll deliver:

Why it's a great idea:

There is no other volunteering event like this in Lewisham that brings together the voluntary sector and the local community.
