Hi I'm. Jess, I'm the head coach here at Horncastle Tesla. Hi, I'm Katie, I'm the treasurer at Horncastle Tennis Club. Horncastle Tennis Club has been part of this community for over 80 years. From grass courts and Stanford Road to where we are today on Coronation Walk, we've kept investing, kept improving, kept making. Sure that anyone at Horncastle and the. Surrounding area Who wants to play sport has somewhere to come. As a community amateur Sports Club, every penny we make goes straight back into the club and back into the community. We currently have 160 members of all ages and abilities from complete beginners who've never held a racket before to leave players competing across Lincolnshire. We have coaching for all ages. Walking, tennis, social sessions and just this first year we've introduced Pettable. The response has been incredible. We've absolutely delighted. Lincoln just love the year 2025. South Paddle if you haven't tried it yet, you absolutely. Need to. It's the fastest growing racket sport in the world and honestly, it's so much fun. Blade and double S on a smaller enclosed court, with the glass balls also in play. It's one of those sports which generally doesn't matter how old you are or how fit you are, you can pick it up in an afternoon and you'll be hooked. It's social, it's great for your fitness and it's suitable for absolutely everyone, whether you're 8 or 80, a seasoned athlete or someone who's just fancied something new. We've also received full backing from local schools our. Exciting paddle to. Young people in home puzzle access to support. Their love for life. We're so excited to have successfully received planning permission before covered paddle courts right here at the club. Let's. All celebrate. And have a good time. That was our first hurdle. Our second hurdle is funding the bill as a community amateur Sports Club. We're not sitting on a nest egg. The build cost is actually going to. Be in a region of 800,000. Pounds, which is a significant investment, but one we believe is right for the community and we are absolutely determined to make it happen. We don't have investors. We. Are relying predominantly. On donations through crowdfunding, grant applications and potentially an LTA loan. And here's why that matters. The less we have to borrow, the more scope we have to keep the court prices affordable. Our mission is to ensure that racquet sport is affordable for anyone who wishes to play. Everyone should have access to these facilities, and we mean everyone. The likelihood is that we'll build in stages as the fund comes in, and we'll probably start with two ports and then add the rest as funds allow. So now we have a really big ask. We've set up this crowdfunding page through Space Hive, and we're asking that you can donate whatever you can. Honestly, anything from 1 LB upwards really makes a difference. Our target is 20,000 lbs, and every single pound raised goes directly to the build. What's more, by donating through Space Hive, we're actually also able to apply for the East Lindsay Community Fund, which could match up to 10,000 lbs of what we raise. So your donation could go even further than you think. And as a thank you and appreciation, everyone who donates will have the opportunity to have their name on a permanent plaque on the clubhouse wall. Because if you help make this happen, you deserve to be remembered for it. The more we raise, the less we need to borrow and the more affordable we can make the courts for everyone. We want to make sure that Horncastle still has a club like this in another 80 years. If you can donate, brilliant, thank you. If you can't, no problem, but please, we do ask that if you can share it with your network, that would be much appreciated. It costs nothing, but it helps just as much. Eight years I'm counting. Let's build the next together. I'm so. Excited and I just can't.
