The Orpen Hall play equipment is tired and dated. Families are now generally travelling to Eight Ash Green or Great Horkesley to take their children to the park. West Bergholt has a large population of young people and a modernised park would bring the community together, encourage healthy living and enable residents to walk to a park that their children love. This project plans to update the play equipment and make it appeal to a broader age range.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
This will give our young people a proper place to play and get together in the village and strengthen the feeling of community. It will also encourage others to visit and enjoy our village.
