We are trying to raise money to repair our building/roof and to buy equipment. We are purely run on a volunteer basis. We are taking kids off the street and giving them something positive to focus on

Our gym is situated at the back of a cemetery and has been left to rot from the Leicester City Council. We have took this on and have already created a busy gym with people from all ages. People wanting to get fit, learn the sport of boxing and something to keep them busy. All our coaches are volunteers and I would like to create a safe environment for everyone and provide some better equipment for all users.

This gym has heart. The coaches have passion. I have personally seen this gym change someones life. If it can help one person, it can help another and many more.
Steps to get it done:
I have seen first hand this gym and the people that run it change peoples lives. The gym builds friendships which then passes off to help each other with other aspects including passing on work and jobs to each other. We are situated between 3 rough council estates and we are getting more and more people in every day. We try and charge a couple of pound 'sub' money but sometimes this is hard to get from people and the gym really does require some money to be spent on it that we just dont have.
