Triana Telebumble’s: Into the Santaverse is a livestreamed family Christmas show. The story follows a young girl jumping between different dimensions and meeting different versions of Santa in order to try and stop the evil Atnas stealing christmas forever. This format consists of a livestreamed performance with real time audience interaction through a livechat, along with physical props delivered prior to the audience’s homes. The primary audience is 6-10 year olds, but the show is suited for the whole family. All elements of the show have been created with relevant Covid procedures observed. Performed by 1UPSTARTS theatre company, a Hull based Theatre group, this show will deliver items straight from the show to your home through 'the magic of theatre'! Like Mike TV in Willy Wonka, imagine the idea of a performer twirling around the magical tinsel that will save Christmas, and in the next moment, it could be in your very hands! A show designed to be as 'Covid-proof' as possible.

This show has been designed to fight against the ever-increasing forms of isolation that are developing due to Covid-19. Pantos have been cancelled, groups of over 6 banned, Christmas very much feels like it hangs in the balance. As such, we've been working on a show that can be experienced by everyone in the safety of their own home! But unlike that tired old copy of Elf or having to suffer through another Eastenders Xmas Special, we want to bring something live, something that channels the energy of screaming 'HE'S BEHIND YOU!', something that hopefully brings the family closer together in a one of a kind event this year! Up to 600 households can experience our unique 'Play-at-home!' formula, with an additional unlimited amount of livestream-only tickets available over 6 days of performances. No leaving Nana at home because she's at risk this year! No having to cancel tickets last minute because your husband has a cough! No one should have to miss out on Christmas! Why start now?

Planned Structure of shows: 6 shows between 14th - 19th December Tickets cost: £10 livestream only £35 Premium tickets (includes delivered 'Play-at-home' box, contents of box to keep and a home visit from one of our Santa's to thank you after the show Premium tickets only available in these postcodes: HU1, HU2, HU3, HU4, HU5, HU6, HU7, HU8, HU9, HU10, HU13 and HU16

Volunteer1UPSTARTS is a Hull-based theatre company that specialises in the creation of interactive, immersive theatre. Created in 2016, we combine live performance with non-linear narratives and a variety of gameplay mechanics to create a problem solving environment that audiences can exploit and explore, in order to better equip them for dealing with real world issues. We comprise of a group of University of Hull students and graduates from several different fields and have worked with numerous community groups and charities in the creation and engagement of our work.
