This project is an off-grid direct current microgrid featuring a set of photo voltaic PV panels, battery storage, filtered & treated cold and hot air handling system and a charge controller. The system is mounted on a trailer ready to travel to any location in the borough for exhibition and training purposes. The internal environment will feature the latest in dc lighting, dc refrigeration and connected DC devices including Internet of Things, IoT.

What we'll deliver:

  • A combo heating and cooling system for internal environmental control
  • A non-polluting/clean source of electrical energy supply
  • A cheaper, faster and better way of caring for the natural environment
  • A node into what might scale into a distributed microgrid-driven internet of energy

Why it's a great idea:

This project is committed to protecting our clients and the wider community from excessive heating and cooling bills, the deprivation caused by fuel poverty and the threat of environmental degradation through global warming and climate change. .

Steps to get it done:

This project has the potential to achieve benefits beyond the elimination of fuel poverty. It's a primer to a digitally connected community microgrid. Has the potential to disrupt the traditional fossil fuel grid system
