We are restoring a part of historic Churchgate. 70-74 Churchgate is being uplifted and restored to its original glory. Recently the street has seen many shops closing and a general deterioration has occurred, we aim at reviving the street, creating planters and cleaning up to boot.
Inside our three shops we are creating a community cafe where our inner city community can chill, eat and drink locally sourced amazing coffee and get to know one another.
Our unique courtyard space outback will be a garden in the city where community can grow herbs and cook with them later.
What we'll deliver:
- Plant flowers and hanging baskets
- Restore shop fronts to former glory
- Provide locally sourced food and drink
- Clean up streets around business
Why it's a great idea:
Our city of Leicester has such amazing potential, Churchgate is in need of reviving and it will add to our diversity in the city
