Stirling Council made the headline for being the first Gigabit city with fibre nerwork installed in 2020, while wee town like Thornhill was left behind with old age internet and no plans to upgrade. This project is to reach out to the local council, stirling council and openreach to connect true fibre network to Thornhill. By combining everyone's voucher from UK Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme for rural area, the Scottish Broadband Voucher Scheme, and the Openreach Community Fibre Partnerships, it would provide enough funding required for Openreach to install the upgrade to Thornhill.
