The project will allow the creation of a wellness hub ,this its first of its kind in Cumbria .People will have access to Health wellness activities and its specifically for people over the age of 55.The physical program will include classes for balance ,stretching cardiovascular, weight training exercise, but will be matched up to the individual, also there will be memory classes, self awareness classes which compliments the physical activities. There will be a swimming pool where you can relax and unwind ,hairdressers ,massage room sauna, steam room and jacuzzi room. and a coffee shop to be able to meet old friends and make new friends and prevent isolation and loneliness. There is no place in Cumbria like it anyone retiring in Cumbria has no option but to attend general classes in a mainstream gym .and target specific age related conditions invariably and due to the lack of credible preventive options end up in medical facilities.

Why it's a great idea:

it will offer services so that people can feel the best in retirement. A more preventive and aspirational approach to health which is likely to reduce hospital admissions Access also to walking trails amongst acres of private gardens as well as use of the Spa/gym and coffee shop and attend classes outside weather permitting. Generate jobs for rural Cumbria.
