The studio's mission is to encourage & assist rethinking throwing away old/broken/unloved items by renewing them in one of the following ways where possible/practical/desirable: - REPAIR/make good - REUSE in another way by UPCYCLING into a different object - REDISTRIBUTE if not wanted to others or could use it, so RECYCLING Summary Mission = RETHINK WASTE

Why it's a great idea:
We need to reduce waste & rethink our throw-away culture because tomorrow's future is today's making. By developing local community initiatives to support this we can work together to bring about a major change in how society thinks about waste.
Steps to get it done:
For the model to thrive we would need to ask for nominal voluntary donations for those using the service to continue to fund materials & operating costs.
